Other than always being understaffed, we love renting from Hertz. They are the only car rental company that allows us to drive their cars cross-country. We have never had any problems or issues with any aspect of our rental experience, from online reservations, desk agents, the quality of the rental cars, or the ease of returning the car. I would have given 5 stars, but there is always at least a 15-20 minute wait, regardless of prior reservations being made, to pick up our rental car. If Hertz can resolve that issue, they would earn a 5-star rating from us! Otherwise, they are doing a great job!
